The workshops in Ireland and Spain have been postponed indefinitely due to travel logistics and enrollment issues. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Be sure you’re on our mailing list (sign up below in the website footer). We’ll announce when the workshops will be offered again. We also recommend you check out Wisdom of the Cosmos, which begins August 8, 2026 − a deeper dive into the same subject matter as these workshops.

Join Dr. Edward Neal for a transformative weekend immersion in Neijing Nature-Based Medicine—a living approach drawn from the earliest roots of Chinese medical thought. This course explores the original roots of Chinese medicine and examines the deeper questions of what it means to live according to the principles of Nature’s design.

Over two days, you’ll explore how ancient Chinese physicians understood the body, the cosmos, and the natural world as one continuous field of relationship. Through lively discussion, guided readings, and embodied practices, we’ll rediscover what it means to live—and to heal—in rhythm with the world around us.

The course weaves together:

  • An introduction to the Huangdi Neijing, the original text of Chinese medicine.
  • Revolutionary new findings from a quarter century of Classical Text Archeology
  • Live interaction, dialogue and group discussion
  • Embodied exercises that will help integrate these ideas
  • Practical reflections on how these ideas inform our work and everyday life

Our spring workshops will be held in the United States (Rhode Island), Ireland, and Spain. Each gathering will be shaped by place and by those who attend—honoring the land, the people, and the local context as integral parts of the learning environment.

This course is open to members of the public, students, and healthcare practitioners who are curious about reconnecting with the natural world and rediscovering beauty—not as decoration, but as a fundamental quality of human flourishing. Whether you are new to Chinese medicine or have studied it for years, this weekend offers a renewed orientation—one that restores depth, coherence, and meaning to the study of the body and nature.
