The Apricot Grove is a home for continuing your study of the Neijing and Neijing Nature-Based Medicine, whenever you took it and wherever you are now.

How do I stay in touch and keep learning after the course ends?

We’ve heard this question for years, from students who finished in 2012 and students who finished last spring. Once the live classes end, there hasn’t been a clear way to stay connected to the material, to each other, or to the ongoing work.

The Alumni Program is our answer. It gives you a way to keep circling back to this material, at whatever level of depth you want, for as long as you want.

The work is still being written

The Apricot Grove is an active text archaeology site. The research into the Neijing hasn’t stopped since you took the course, and neither has the material. If you studied with us in an earlier year, there’s more here now than what you remember: new discoveries, refined interpretations, deeper connections between the texts and the clinic.

Coming back isn’t repeating a class. It’s meeting the same foundational ideas again, from a few years further into your own practice, with material that has grown alongside you.

Tier 1 – Alumni Library Card

Tier 2 – Full Course Access

$135/month

Included:

  • Everything in Tier 1, plus full access to any current live classes

  • Access to the complete recorded course, all four semesters of the latest class completed, organized by study topic

  • Join any live weekend classes, as they happen
  • Participate in the class discussion forums
  • Attend a monthly live Alumni meeting with Dr. Neal to address questions that arise

In essence, Tier 2 lets you retake the entire two-year course, or revisit any part of it, while keeping access to previous years’ material. Your access begins as soon as you join. The incoming 2026–28 class holds its first live weekend on Saturday, August 8th.

The Alumni Program is open to anyone who has completed the online course, in any year. Practicums are wonderful, but they’re not required.
